[Football] Football Places Nine on Hampshire Honor Society

Doane Football placed nine seniors on the annual National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society for 2021. The Tiger number was the most of any NAIA member institution as 910 players from 255 schools were honored. Doane was one of 22 institutions to have nine or more on this year's list.Recognized from Doane (in alphabetical order) were Josh Baker (SR/Omaha, Neb.), Wyatt Bodfield (SR/Crete, Neb.), Cole Bruns (SR/Bloomfield, Neb.), Tyler Cunningham (SR/Omaha, Neb.), Drake Davidson (SR/Moberly, Mo.), Joaquim Robinson (SR/Kearney, Neb.), Sam Vanderslice (SR/Bellevue, Neb.), Jacobi White (SR/Grapevine, Texas), and Dalton Wicht (SR/Grand Island, Neb.)."We are pleased to honor another impressive group of athletes as part of this year's Hampshire Honor Society," said NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell. "For more than a decade, the Hampshire Honor Society has served as a powerful vehicle for schools to recognize their college football players who have distinguished themselves both academically and athletically, and we congratulate the schools and each of these young men for their commitment to excellence in all aspects of their lives."In 2019, Doane Football also had nine recipients and has had 38 recipients since 2016.
