[Football] Football Picked 6th in GPAC Preseason Poll

The 2020 preseason coaches' poll was released on Wednesday by the GPAC with Doane selected to finish 6th by the conference coaches. The Tigers are coming off a 4-7 season, going 4-5 in the GPAC and placing 5th.Under the direction of coach Chris Bessler, the Tigers return 14 starters from last year. Eight starters will return on the offensive side of the ball and six on the defensive side.Doane opens the season on Saturday, September 12, at home. The Tigers will host Concordia in a 6 PM contest on Papik Field at Memorial Stadium.
