[Football] 11 Football Falcons Receive KCAC Scholar-Athlete Recognition
WICHITA, Kan. – The Friends University Football Falcons have 11 student-athletes that earned the KCAC Scholar-Athlete award this season, the league announced today (Nov. 9). The award is sponsored by Barnes & Noble College, the official campus bookstore and course material provider of the KCAC.To qualify for this award, the student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing, maintain a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have attended one full year at the KCAC institution.The Falcon Football student-athletes that received this honor are listed below:Stephen Acosta (SO/Clovis, N.M.)Andrew Gerace (FR/Wichita, Kan.)Kevin McKenzie (SR/Keota, Okla.)Tucker Trevett (FR/Wichita, Kan.)
