James Daniels Selected for Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship with Denver Broncos for Second Consecutive Season

For the second consecutive season, the Denver Broncos have selected East Stroudsburg University assistant football coach James Daniels to take part in the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship.

The Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship program offers the opportunity for talented minority coaches to work closely with NFL coaches and staff during training camp. The program was established in 1987 and is named after late Pro Football Hall of Fame Head Coach Bill Walsh, who conceived the idea.

Daniels will work with Denver Broncos during training camp for about three weeks from mid-July into early August with film and drill work. The Broncos are coached by ESU alumnus, Vic Fangio '80.

"I'm thrilled to have another opportunity to work with the Denver Broncos," said Daniels of the fellowship. "Vic Fangio and defensive coordinator Ed Donatell are some of the best defensive minds in football and are outstanding coaches. It's another opportunity for me to get better and hopefully help our team get better from the knowledge I acquire from them."
