[Football] SXU Football Begins 2022 Season Ranked No. 11 in Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Saint Xavier University football team was ranked No. 11 in the NAIA Football FirstDown PlayBook Top 25 Preseason Coaches' Poll when the poll was announced by the NAIA Monday afternoon. The Cougars moved up one spot after being ranked No. 12 in the postseason poll last December 22. SXU is coming off a 2021 campaign that saw them win the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League for the fourth time in five seasons and their eighth Midwest League crown overall.
