[Football] SXU falls to No. 14 UIndy, 34-10, in season opener

CHICAGO – Sophomore quarterback Stuart Ross (Springfield, Ill./Springfield Southeast) was 30-for-50 and threw for a career-high 306 yards and a touchdown, but Saint Xavier University football (0-1, 0-0 MSFA) lost 34-10 to NCAA Division II No. 14 University of Indianapolis (Ind.) Saturday evening at Bruce R. Deaton Memorial Field in Chicago. Ross also ran for 41 yards for the Cougars. Both teams had similar outputs on offense with SXU racking up 389 of total offense, while the Greyhounds had 353 yards of total offense.
