[Football] Offensive Surge Leads No. 11 SXU Past Judson, 52-6
Elgin, Ill. – The No. 11 Saint Xavier University football team (7-2, 5-0 MSFA Midwest) had its highest scoring game of the season, coming away with a 52-6 victory over Judson University (Ill.) in Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League action Saturday afternoon at Millennium Field in Shorewood, Ill. Senior wide receiver Justin Pringle (Romeoville, Ill./Plainfield East) started the game off with a bang, returning the opening kickoff 95 yards for his first career kick return for a touchdown, the Cougars rushed for a season-high 283 yards and the SXU defense limited the Eagles to just 44 rushing yards on 33 attempts to run their winning streak to seven games.
