[Football] Hixson and Nigro earn MSFA Midwest League Awards

CHICAGO – Sophomore wide receiver Brandt Hixson (Machesney Park, Ill./Harlem) and junior linebacker Peyton Nigro (Mokena, Ill./Concordia-St. Paul/Lincoln-Way Central) were named Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League Special Teams and Defensive Players of the Week for Saint Xavier University football (1-1, 0-0 MSFA) when the awards were announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
