[Football] Benes named to Fred Mitchell Award October Watch List

CHICAGO – Freshman kicker Peyton Benes (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) was named to the Fred Mitchell Award Watch List for the month of October. The Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 10 place-kickers for their excellence on the football field and for continued community service during their off-season. The winner of the Fred Mitchell Award will be announced in mid-December based on performance on the gridiron and in the community. Former standout Tom Lynch (2009-11) won the award in 2010 & 2011 and is the only kicker to win the award twice in the last decade.
