Wingate season opener against Albany State moved to Friday at 4 PM

Wingate, N.C.—-Due to the threat of inclement weather from Hurricane Idalia, the Wingate University football season opener has been pushed back a day. The Bulldogs will now host Albany State Friday, Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. The game was pushed back one day to insure safe travels for Albany State, with the hurricane making its way up the east coast Wednesday and Thursday.
