Wingate defense stifles Barton in 28-3 Homecoming victory

Wingate, N.C.—-The Wingate University Bulldogs held their opponent under 100 yards of total offense for the second time this season, defeating Barton College 28-3 on Homecoming in South Atlantic Conference football action at Irwin Belk Stadium. Wingate improves to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in the SAC, while Barton drops to 2-6 overall and 1-5 in league play.
