Weekly Preview: SCSU Men's & Women's Cross Country Prepare For NE10 Championships

It's Championship Week as the Southern Connecticut State University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams prepare for the Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Sunday, Oct. 22. The men will be defending its 2023 title while the women head into the weekend as the top-ranked team in the USTFCCCA East Region polls.

Women's volleyball kicks off the action for the week of Oct. 16 when they host Adelphi on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. at Pelz Field. The men's soccer team will also host long-time rival Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday, Oct. 21 with the unveiling of the Raymond, Sr. and Joan Reid SCSU Men's Soccer Wall of Excellence set for that evening. Field hockey, women's soccer and football all travel this week. Men's soccer heads to Worcester, Mass. on Tuesday, Oct. 17 to take on Assumption, while Wednesday, Oct. 18 finds women's soccer in Manchester, N.H. to face SNHU and field hockey in Waltham, Mass. to face Bentley. Volleyball also travels to Bentley on Friday, Oct. 20.

Football kicks-off in Pleasantville, N.Y. against Pace on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. while field hockey travels to SNHU and women's soccer plays at American International.
