SCSU Athletics Places 10 On Fall 2023 NE10 Academic All-Conference Teams

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut State University Athletics & Recreation featured 10 student-athletes named to the Fall 2024 Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference team, as announced by the NE10 on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2024. Student-athletes to receive academic all-conference honors include football's James Griffiths, field hockey's Trinidad Rodriguez-Ricchiuti, men's cross country's Owen Gagne, Luca Cazzaniga and William Lamburn, women's cross country's Courtney Henchcliffe and Briana Grecco, men's soccer's Alex da Cunha and women's soccer's Taylor Hennig and Alexie Rosado. da Cunha and Grecco were previously selected to the Academic All-Conference team while the Owls' other recipients are first-time honorees.

Student-athletes are eligible for the NE10 Academic All-Conference team while hosting a 3.30 grade-point average, have an impact in competition and are selected by vote by a panel of administrators in the NE10.
