Weekly Preview: Football Hosts Home Opener, Field Hockey & Volleyball At Home This Week

It's another exciting week for Southern Connecticut Athletics as field hockey, volleyball and football all host home games, while men's and women's cross country open the season on Saturday, Sept. 9.
 
Field hockey kicks off the week with a tilt against Saint Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. at Jess Dow Field while volleyball will host Post and Saint Anselm for a tri-match on Friday, Sept. 8. SCSU Football, coming off an exciting season opener at No. 13 Shepherd, hosts Assumption on Saturday, Sept. 9 for its first home game of the 2023 season.
