Warriors Football Excited to Announce Second Annual Bill Bergen Memorial Golf Tournament

East Stroudsburg University and the Warriors' football program mourned the loss of Bill Bergen, a Hall of Fame defensive end and 1980 graduate of ESU, who passed away suddenly in October 2018.

In his memory, head coach Jim Terwilliger, along with members of the Warrior Football Club and staff, are excited to announce the second annual Bill Bergen Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, July 2, 2021 at the beautiful Skytop Lodge.

"My Uncle Bill held a leadership role in the Warrior Football Club for over 20 years," Terwilliger said. "He helped run the golf tournament that provided opportunities for hundreds of student-athletes to come to East Stroudsburg University. Uncle Bill was the epitome of a TRUE WARRIOR, and I am honored to name the tournament in his memory."
