Spot in SAC title game on the line as #20 Wingate hosts #22 Newberry Saturday

Wingate, N.C.—-The South Atlantic Conference Piedmont Division title is up for grabs Saturday afternoon, as #20 Wingate hosts #22 Newberry at 2 p.m. at Irwin Belk Stadium. The winner will host the SAC title game on Saturday, Nov. 12. Wingate enters the contest at 8-1 overall and 6-1 in the SAC, while the Wolves are 7-2 overall and 5-2 in league play. The 'Dogs are also the number three team in the NCAA Super Region 2 poll.
