[Football] Zitkus named MSFA Defensive Player of the Week

MSFA Players of the WeekA disruptive force all afternoon Sunday, Ryan Zitkus was named the Mid-States Football Association Midwest League's Defensive Player of the Week today.The senior defensive lineman led St. Ambrose with nine tackles, including 2.5 for loss and one sack, in the Bees' 14-6 win over St. Francis (Ill.). He scored SAU's first touchdown, picking up a fumble and returning it 27 yards for a score and a 7-6 lead in the second quarter.Zitkus led a St. Ambrose defense that forced six turnovers and allowed just 225 yards of total offense.
