[Football] Twenty-five Bees named to MSFA All-Academic Team

Academic all-MSFATwenty-five members of the St. Ambrose football team were named to the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) all-academic team. A record total of 226 student-athletes made up the 2019 selections. The total number this season surpassed the previous record of 186 set in 2016.To be eligible, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.25 cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore.The Bees named to the team were: Zach Barish, John Benckendorf, Matthew Coovert, Collin Etherton, Michael Fettkether, Kobie Hoover, Liam Kelly, Sam Kerr, Aaron Kussmann, Tyler Martyn, Ethan Miebach, D.J. Mumaw, Trent Nunn, Caleb Osborn, Tanner Plowman, Spencer Schlarmann, Adam Sigwarth, Jared Sutton, Garret Tiarks, Noah Ufheil, Dillon Valdez, J.D. Villafuerte, Blake Wittman, Griffin Zajac and Ryan Zitkus.Schlarmann was one of just four players in the conference with a 4.00 GPA.
