[Football] Thirty-one Bees named to MSFA All-Academic Team

MSFA All-Academic TeamThirty-one members of the St. Ambrose football team were named to the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) all-academic team. A record total of 292 student-athletes made up the 2020-21 selections. The total number this season surpassed the previous record of 226 set in 2019.To be eligible, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.25 GPA and reached sophomore academic status.The Bees named to the team were: Drew Ackman, Zach Barish, Allen Bartoszek, John Benckendorf, Anthony Brown, Tom Casey, Daniel Daley, Jackson Hunsicker, Liam Kelly, Sam Kerr, Alex Knoebel, Aaron Kussmann, Evan Lins, Willy Lopez, Tom Macari, Tyler Martyn, Declan McDonald, Ethan Miebach, D.J. Mumaw, Jaxson Nelson, Trent Nunn, Caleb Osborn, Spencer Schlarmann, Jett Schmitt, Garret Tiarks, DeViann Titus-Porter, Noah Ufheil, J.D. Villafuerte, Blake Wittman, Griffin Zajac and Ryan Zitkus.Schlarmann was one of just eight players in the conference with a 4.0 GPA.
