Football: Midwest Conference Honors Four Macalester Scots on All-MWC Teams

Four Macalester College student-athletes were included on the All-Midwest Conference football teams, as the league announced its year-end awards today. Junior offensive lineman Carter Gale (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) and sophomore tight end Peter Vitalis (Shafer, Minn./Chisago Lakes) made the All-MWC North Division first team, while senior defensive back Dean Smith (Carpinteria, Calif./Cate School) and junior defensive lineman John Newton (Highland Village, Texas/Coram Deo Academy) were on the second team.
