Football: CSC Recognizes Eight Scots with Academic All-District Honors

Eight members of the Macalester College football team were named to the Division III Football Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced today. Senior receiver Nick Bice (Fort Dodge, Iowa/Fort Dodge), senior defensive back Will Brazgel (Hartland, Wis./Lake Country Lutheran), senior running back Logan Pampel (Johnson Creek, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran), junior punter Theo Crosby (Edina, Minn./The Blake School), junior linebacker Jacob Hellenbrand (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie), junior defensive back Cameron Latvis (West St. Paul, Minn./Two Rivers), junior defensive back Justin Potts (Bloomington, Ill./Normal Community) and sophomore offensive lineman Max Clifford (Arvada, Colo./Pomona) earned Academic All-District honors, which recognizes student-athletes for excellence in academics and athletics.
