[Football] Kansas Wesleyan Defeats Avila in Top 25 Showdown

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Two big plays set the tone early, the Coyote defense stayed in control throughout, and though #22 Avila (4-2, 4-2 KCAC) worked hard to come back from an early deficit, #10 Kansas Wesleyan (6-0, 6-0 KCAC) did enough to defeat the Eagles 30-20 on Homecoming on Saturday afternoon at The Z, exacting some revenge for Avila's upset win in Salina a season ago.
