KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Malik Nesbitt and Andrew Williams both went off for over 140 yards, the Avila defense nearly pitched a shutout in the second half and forced McPherson (5-4, 5-4 KCAC) into five second-half turnovers, and the Eagles (6-3, 6-3 KCAC) flipped a slim halftime deficit into a comfortable 33-17 victory on Senior Day on Saturday at The Z, clinching a winning season for Avila football for the fourth straight season.
