Football: Four Scots Earn Academic All-District Honors

Four members of the Macalester College football team were named to the Division III Football Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced today. Senior receiver Ty Bruckner (Bel Aire, Kan./Wichita North), senior offensive lineman Brant Newman (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area), sophomore defensive back Cameron Latvis (West St. Paul, Minn./Two Rivers) and sophomore defensive back Justin Potts (Bloomington, Ill./Normal Community) earned Academic All-District honors and are now candidates for Academic All-American accolades.
