[Football] Fettkether selected to participate in NAIA Senior Football Classic

St. Ambrose senior long snapper Michael Fettkether has been selected to participate in the inaugural Senior Football Classic, set to be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Memorial Stadium in Savannah, Ga. He is one of 116 seniors from around the country representing 42 schools chosen to participate in the east-west all-star game.Fettkether, from Robins, Iowa (Xavier High School), was a four-year starter for St. Ambrose, taking over the long-snapping duties for the Bees initially as a true freshman.He helped St. Ambrose (4-5) finish second in the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League with a 4-2 conference mark this season. Four of the Bees' five losses came to nationally-ranked opponents.Fettkether was named to the Senior Football Classic's West squad.
