[Football] Buhake named MSFA Defensive Player of the Week

Bernard Buhake was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Midwest League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday after leading a dominant defensive effort in the Bees' 17-7 win over St. Francis (Ill.) Saturday.The junior defensive end was credited with 11 total tackles and three tackles for loss, including a sack. The Bees totaled 15 tackles for loss and three sacks as a team in the win that moved them to 4-1 in the conference.St. Ambrose allowed just two drives of more than 32 yards and held an opponent to seven points for the third time over the last four games.Despite missing the first three games of the season, Buhake leads the team with 3.5 sacks and is second with seven tackles for loss.SAU will close the season at Robert Morris Saturday night.
