[Football] Avila Football Adds Burns To Staff, Announces Promotion For Bland

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Avila University Football has added Jay Burns to its staff as a Defensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, head coach Marc Benavidez announced today. MJ Bland has also been promoted to Offensive Coordinator and will serve as Director of Football Operations. Benavidez will continue to be closely involved with the offense and the former Eagle quarterback will continue to serve as the position coach for the QBs, but the move will allow him to more efficiently manage the administrative responsibilities of the program.
