ESU Tabbed Fourth in PSAC East Football Preseason Poll

LOCK HAVEN – In a preseason poll of the league's head coaches, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) announced that the East Stroudsburg University football team was predicted to finish fourth, the conference announced on Thursday. 
The Warriors posted a 4-7 record a season ago, picking up its second-consecutive win against Bloomsburg for the first time in nearly 30 years. ESU also defeated Shippensburg for the first time since 2014 after a dramatic forced fumble by Jacob Keane with 1:17 remaining, as the Raiders neared the endzone in the 23-16 victory.

NCAA Semifinalist Shepherd was picked to win in the PSAC East, earning five of seven possible first-place votes. Kutztown earned a pair of first-place votes and took second in the poll, while West Chester took the final first-place vote in third place.
After ESU, Millersville, Shippensburg, Bloomsburg and Lock Haven wrapped up the poll in the East Division.
