ESU Mourns the Loss of Hall of Fame Member Dr. Ken Cox '55

The East Stroudsburg University community mourns the loss of Dr. Ken Cox '55, a standout Warrior football, wrestler and track and field alumnus who passed away on February 5, 2022.

Cox was inducted into the ESU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1989. He was a three-year starter on the football team as a guard, earning all-star honors. He was a member of the 1954 Warriors squad that tied for the Pennsylvania Conference championship. As a wrestler, Cox advanced to the PSAC heavyweight championship match. He earned his bachelor's degree in physical education and health from ESU.
