Bulldogs use last-minute touchdown to knock off #7 Lenoir-Rhyne in 34-30 thriller

Wingate, N.C.—-Brooks Bentley connected with Evan McCray for a 75-yard touchdown with 50 seconds left in the fourth quarter, giving the Wingate University Bulldogs a thrilling 34-30 victory over seventh-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne University in South Atlantic Conference football action. Wingate improves to 6-3 overall and 5-2 in the SAC, while the Bears fall to 8-1 overall and 6-1 in league play. Lenoir-Rhyne was one of 11 remaining NCAA Division II teams without a loss entering Saturday's contest.
