Bulldogs overpower Flying Fleet in dominant 45-0 victory

Wingate, N.C.—-The Wingate University Bulldogs piled up 475 yards of offense while holding Erskine College to just 49 total yards, rolling to a 45-0 victory in South Atlantic Conference football action at Irwin Belk Stadium. Wingate moves to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the SAC, while the Flying Fleet fall to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in league play. It is the first shutout since the 'Dogs blanked Catawba October of last season and the largest margin of victory since a 56-7 win against Shaw in September of 2016.
