Bartholomew Tabbed PSAC East Special Teams Athlete of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, PA – After delivering a 41-yard field goal with 34 seconds remaining to extend the East Stroudsburg University football team's lead to two possessions, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced on Monday afternoon that Devin Bartholomew was named the PSAC East Special Teams Athlete of the Week.

Bartholomew, who was named to the AFCA All-America Second Team a season ago, booted his potential final field goal attempt at Eiler-Martin Stadium through the uprights on his Senior Day, lengthening ESU's lead to 37-27 with just 34 seconds remaining. The Vulcans took over possession after a squib kick from Bartholomew, as Cal opted for a 39-yard field goal with 11 seconds remaining to cut the deficit back to seven at 37-30. The Warriors jumped on the ensuing onside kick and kneeled the final seconds away in the victory. The win helped secure the Warriors earn a spot in the upcoming NCAA Division II playoffs.

Additionally, Bartholomew booted three punts for an average of 41.3 yards per punt and a long of 45 yards.
