WSU Football Falls on Last Minute TD

DETROIT — For the third consecutive week, the Wayne State University football team (1-7 overall, 0-4 GLIAC) allowed a game-winning touchdown in the final minute of the fourth quarter.  Saginaw Valley State University (6-2 overall, 1-2 GLIAC) trailed 14-7 entering the final period but a touchdown run at the mid-point of the stanza preceded a nine-yard touchdown run by Derrick Hinton, Jr. with 55 seconds left giving the visiting Cardinals a 21-14 win at Tom Adams Field.
