Wilkes Football Game Notes vs. Susquehanna

WILKES-BARRE — The Wilkes University football team earned its first postseason appearance since 2010 in the Fifth Annual Centennial-MAC Bowl Series as the Colonels will travel to face No. 15 Susquehanna University on Saturday, November 23 at 12:00 p.m. at A.A. Stagg Field at Doug Arthur Stadium in Selinsgrove, Pa. The Colonels finished the regular season 8-2 overall and 6-2 in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) after defeating King's 24-14 in the 24th Mayor's Cup last week to earn the MAC No. 2 seed for the Bowl Series. The River Hawks are nationally ranked at 9-1 overall and were 8-1 in the Centennial Conference with its only loss in overtime to No. 4 Muhlenberg. Susquehanna missed out on an NCAA Tournament at-large bid and are the Centennial No. 1 seed.
