Wildcats host #15 Bemidji State Saturday in Hall of Fame Game

Wayne State faces a nationally-ranked opponent at home for the second straight week as the Wildcats host #15 Bemidji State Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Game at Bob Cunningham Field.  The Wildcats are 5-1 (4-1 NSIC) following last week's 28-18 victory over then #17 Minnesota Duluth while the 4-1 Beavers (4-1 NSIC) were idle last week after falling at home to #4 Minnesota State two weeks ago 27-24. The Wildcats are 11-10 all-time vs. Bemidji State in the series that started in the 1990 season.  BSU has won three straight meetings against the Wildcats, including a 38-28 win in the most recent meeting played in Bemidji in 2021.  Wayne State's last win in the series came in the 2014 season – 35-13 in Wayne.
