Western Illinois Starts Strong in Loss to Indiana State
TERRE HAUTE, Indiana – The Western Illinois football team managed to take a second-quarter lead on Indiana State on Saturday but the Leathernecks could not sustain the advantage, falling 27-6 to the Sycamores in Terre Haute on Saturday. The game was the final road contest of the season and as a member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference for Western. The Leathernecks close the regular season next Saturday, hosting South Dakota at 1 p.m.
