VMI’s Oliver named SoCon Defensive Player of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference announced its weekly football honors on Monday, as VMI's Alex Oliver earned SoCon Defensive Player of the Week after helping lift the Keydets to a 12-7 season-opening win against Davidson Saturday.
