Veteran Eagles Player Announces Surprise Retirement At 27

By Andrew Holleran The Philadelphia Eagles have lost a veteran defensive player to a surprise retirement. Myles Jack, a former second round pick, is retiring from football at 27 years of age. "Sources: Veteran LB Myles Jack has informed the #Eagles that he plans to retire after seven NFL seasons and 617 tackles. Jack signed with Philly during camp, now will hang ‘em up," NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported. Jack, who starred collegiately at UCLA, played for the Jaguars, Steelers and Eagles.
