UWL Opens WIAC Play with Win over UW-Stout; Helterbrand Accounts for Six Touchdowns

La Crosse, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse football team, ranked 13th on this week's D3football.com Top-25 Poll, opened Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) play with a 45-40 victory over UW-Stout Saturday afternoon at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. The Eagles improve to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the WIAC while the Blue Devils fall to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference.
