Total of 270 Students Honored As Tar Heel Scholar-Athletes

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – A total of 270 UNC student-athletes have been honored as Tar Heel Scholar-Athletes in recognition of earning a grade point average of 3.2 or better in the 2019 spring and fall semesters. The honor, which is determined by averaging together GPAs from the two semesters, is typically announced at the end-of-year Academic Awards Luncheon.
