Tornados Visit LaGrange for USA South Matchup with Panthers

The Brevard College football team (4-2, 2-2 USAS) returns to action this Saturday, November 2 when the Tornados head to LaGrange, Georgia for a USA South Conference test against the LaGrange Panthers (3-4, 1-3 USAS). Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Callaway Stadium. The Tornados are coming off a big conference road victory, 26-20, over N.C. Wesleyan College last Saturday in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The victory ended a two-game slide for the Tornados, who currently sit tied-for-third in the USA South standings. Sophomore quarterback Dalton Cole ran for two touchdowns in the victory, while Louis Williams III enjoyed a big day on the defensive side of the ball with two sacks and a forced fumble. Freshman defensive back Rook Tate returned an interception 82 yards for a touchdown that proved a pivotal score for Brevard. Tate was named USA South Conference Football Defensive Rookie of the Week following his efforts last weekend.
