Three Zepeda field goals not enough against No. 1 Sam Houston

ABILENE – Quarterback Eric Schmid threw three touchdown passes and running back Noah Smith scored three times to give defending FCS national champion Sam Houston a 35-9 win over Abilene Christian University in a Western Athletic Conference game Saturday afternoon in Wildcat Stadium.
