The Eagles Released 6 Players After Final Preseason Game

By Andrew Gould The Philadelphia Eagles announced multiple cuts on Sunday morning. With Tuesday's deadline looming to submit a 53-man roster, the defending NFC champions released six players following their final preseason contest. The Eagles parted ways with guard Josh Andrews, tight end Dan Arnold, wide receiver Deon Cain, offensive tackle Dennis Kelly, center Cameron Tom, and tackle Brett Toth. They also placed offensive lineman Roderick Johnson on the injured reserve. Andrews attempted to break back in Philadelphia, where he began his career in 2015 and 2016.
