Team Black Takes Thrilling 38-34 Victory in Annual Crimson and Black Spring Game

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University football team kicked off their 2024 season with their annual Crimson and Black Spring Game Saturday afternoon with Team Black (defense) defeating Team Crimson (offense) 38-34. Both teams had former Wildcats as honorary coaches for the first series of each half with Team Black's honorary coach being Johnny Spevak and Team Crimson's honorary coach being Greg Olson. Former CWU President Dr. Jim Gaudino served as the honorary head coach.
