SMSU earns hard-fought victory over CSP for first home win since 2018

MARSHALL, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State earned its first home victory since the 2018 with the Mustang defense forcing three turnovers, while Jesse Sherwood rushed for a career-high 196 yards on a career-high 32 carries, to pace SMSU to a 14-6 victory over Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday night at The Schwan Regional Event Center.
