Six Panther Football Players Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

Six members of the Middlebury College football team have been named College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) District II First-Team Academic All-District selections by the organization. Seniors Maxwell Rye (Longmeadow, Mass.), Kevin Woodring (Norwalk, Conn.) and Martin Williams (Chestnut Hill, Mass.), along with juniors Will Jernigan (Decatur, Ga.), Pete Huggins (Houston, Texas) and Wyllis McKissick (Littleton, Colo.) were all named to the team. The group helped lead the Panthers to the NESCAC Championship this fall with the program’s first undefeated season (9-0) since 1972.
