SECOND HALF SURGE KEYS CHANTICLEERS’ WIN OVER HORNETS

(Dec. 17, 2020) Conway, S.C. — Coastal Carolina used a strong second half performance to key a 99-73 victory over Delaware State in a men's basketball contest  at the HTC Center this evening. The Hornets, playing for the first time since Nov. 26, only trailed 44-39 at the half, but were outscored 55-34 in the final 20 minutes to fall to 0-2 on the season. The Chanticleers won for the fifth time in six games this year.
