Seawolves Set to Meet No. 8/11 Villanova on Saturday

THE MATCHUP: Stony Brook returns to the gridiron on Saturday, November 13, at 1 p.m., when it goes head-to-head with No. 8/11 Villanova at Villanova Stadium. The game is set to air on FloFootball. The Seawolves fell to the Wildcats in the teams' last meeting in the Spring of 2021. Villanova came away with a narrow, 16-13, win in the Spring season opener on March 6. Stony Brook and Villanova are both coming off of wins. The Seawolves defeated Maine, 22-17, last Saturday and the Wildcats knocked off Elon, 35-0. Stony Brook picked up a 36-35 victory that last time they traveled to Villanova on October 26, 2019. Tyquell Fields threw for 320 yards and Ty Son Lawton rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown.
