Seattle Seahawks Starter Announces Surprise Retirement

Austin Blythe, who started all 17 games for the Seahawks at center during the 2022 season, abruptly announced his retirement in an Instagram post on Tuesday. The 30-year-old Blythe spent seven seasons in the NFL, four of them with the Los Angeles Rams, after being drafted in the seventh round out of Iowa in 2016.
