Scott, Wiegel earn NSIC Football Player of the Week honors

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University football team had two standouts recognized for outstanding Week 2 performances in a 33-8 Warrior win over Concordia University, St. Paul on Saturday, Sept. 9. Placekicker Jacob Scott and safety Griffin Wiegel were named as the NSIC Special Teams and NSIC Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.
